Here, you can bathe in the river, walk along the riverbank, and enjoy the view of the mangrove forests of the nearby Sundarbans . Each camp offer various entertainment programs of their guest , that includes bonfires, different local foods, and fish festivals.

You can relax at the campsite, enjoy the riverside view while having delicious food in the camp. The food served at the camps are very tasty and delicious . Most of the camp welcome their guest with coconut water, followed by breakfast with luchi and ghugni.

Lunch usually serves from 12PM , which includes plain rice, fried fish, hilsa, prawn malai curry, chutney, papad, and cold drinks .Most of the camp serves two , three kind of fist including local fish in the dinner.

Traveller can visit Mousuni Island anytime, but it is recommended to book your camp in advance, especially during holidays when all camps fully occupied. Some traveller preferred to day visit only , most of the cam offer Launch at a reasonable cost.
 
 
How to Reach Mousuni Island
To reach Mousuni Island, you need to travel from Kolkata to Namkhana — either by train or bus.
From Namkhana, take an auto or toto to Doshmile (Ten Mile).
From Doshmile Bazar, take another auto to Pathibunia Ghat.
From Pathibunia Ghat, you need to cross the river by ferry, and then again take a toto to reach your booked camp.
During winter holidays, there are long queues at the ferry ghat, since ferry services is limited, but number tourist remains very high.
The cost for a full-day stay including meals is around ₹1200–₹1300 per person, while a single-meal trip costs around ₹300–₹350.
