In Kolkata, buses depart in the morning from all major city areas such as Garia, Dharmatala, Howrah, and Budge Budge towards Digha. Both government and private buses operate with the destination of Digha. The fare for a regular bus is approximately 200 rupees, while AC buses range from around 350 to 380 rupees, and Volvo AC buses cost between 400 to 450 rupees. The journey by bus takes approximately four hours. Therefore, if you catch a bus around 6 AM, you can reach Digha by around 10 to 11 AM.
The nearest railway station to Mandarmani is Contai (Kanthi) Railway Station, located approximately 17 kilometers away. From the station, you can either hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach Mandarmani. The journey takes about one and a half hours approximately.
