Digha | Digha Beach

The main attraction of Digha is Sea Beach, every day thousands of people bathe in Sea Beach and collect oysters in the morning. Taking a break, having lunch, walking on the beach, swaying in the breeze, is mesmerizing.As soon as the evening comes, the sea beach sides sit like a fair. The evening passed with all kinds of food, fried fish, ice cream, stories and rumours.

Amaravati Park is a major attraction of Digha, it is open from 7:30 am to 6 pm. Entry fee is Rs/- 5 and Boating fee is Rs/- 60 and Roapway is Rs/- 50. It is one kilometer away from Digha, you can easily get toto or van to reach here.

Science City Located next to New Digha, Science City is a government agency specializing in science and its applications. This science city attracts school students, especially science students . Sciencecity is open from 9 am to 7 pm.Different show is performed here 3d show Rs/-25 , jurassic park Rs/-15 etc.

Talsari Beach is a natural beach just 8 km from Digha. To go to Talsari Beach you first book an auto or toto, from there you have to take a boat to Talsari Beach. It is a natural beach, strong wind around here, natural vegetation, less traffic of people.Talsari Beach is ideal for those who want to be secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city life , crabs are found here.

Chandaneshwar temple is located about six kilometers from Digha, it is an ancient Shiva temple .It is located in the state of Odisha, a holy place, if you visit Digha, you must visit the Chandaneshwar temple. If you want to travel here, you have to change the auto twice or reserve an auto, if you go by changing the auto, then you will need to pay approximately 20 + 20 = 40 (Rs/-).

Dhew Sagar Park is an amusement park for children, its entrance fee is Rs/-10. Slips, swings, and other children's play equipment are available here.It is located right in the middle of zhaw trees garden.Although it is not so crowded during the day, it gets crowded in the evening.

Shankarpur is about 14 km from Digha.A fishing port ,there is also a beach here , but not as wide as Digha. It is mainly used for fishing, when you come here you will see a lot of fishing trawler and fishermen busy at work. Many people visit Shankarpur, for a little quieter stay . There are enough hotels here too , You can rent a small car from Digha to come here , it will take Rs/- 400 to Rs/-500 or take bus can come to Shankarpur, your fare will be from Rs/-20 to Rs/- 25.

A new Jagannath temple is being built near Digha. If you travel to Digha, you can worship Lord Jagannath Dev very quickly.The Jagannath temple has not been inaugurated till the time of writing this article, but it will be inaugurated soon.

Besides, by renting a car from Digha, by bus to Mandarmani which is only 30 km away. The special attraction of Mandarmani is 13Km long golden Sea Beach.There are also many hotels here , Many tourists come to Mandarmani without coming to Digha.
